Because every product we sell is made to order, our return policy differs from standard retail. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
Made-to-Order — No Returns for Change of Mind
All products are 3D printed specifically for your order. We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse.
- Color appearance (minor variation from on-screen is inherent to 3D printing).
- Visible layer lines or slight surface texture (normal characteristics of FDM printing).
- Items that have been altered, painted, assembled, or otherwise modified after delivery.
Custom Print & Design Requests
Custom quote requests (both print requests and design requests) are services, not standard retail products. Once a quoted price is accepted and fulfillment begins, refunds are not available except in the case of a manufacturing defect on our part.
Defective or Damaged Items
If your item arrives with a genuine printing defect or was damaged in transit, we will make it right. To be eligible:
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Email support@joplin3dprinting.com with your order number and clear photos showing the defect or damage.
- We will review your claim and respond within 2 business days.
Approved claims will receive either a replacement (our preference for defects) or a full refund to your original payment method, at our discretion. We cover all shipping costs for approved claims.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel a pending order before it is confirmed by an employee. To cancel, visit your order history and use the “Cancel Order” button while the order is in “Pending” status.
Once an order is confirmed and printing has begun, cancellation is no longer available through your account. Contact us directly as soon as possible if you need to discuss a late cancellation — we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee cancellation after confirmation.
Refund Processing
- Card payments — Refunds are processed back to the original card. Allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear depending on your bank.
- Cash payments — Refunds for cash orders will be arranged directly with you by email or in person.
Shipping Costs
Original shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases where a defect or damage is confirmed to be our responsibility. We cover return shipping costs for approved defect claims; customers are responsible for return shipping on any other scenarios where a return is accepted at our discretion.
